Tramways is a purpose-built residential care home that prides itself on its homely, warm environment. It offers a high standard of individualised care to people with mental health needs. We are keen to recruit a motivated housekeeper to assist the team in providing a clean, safe environment for the people we support. We can offer flexibility within working hours of 9am-9pm as long as the 5 hours a day are fulfilled. You will work with an established team and be provided with training and support for you in this role.
THE ROLE: As Housekeeper, your responsibilities will include:
- Carry out all cleaning duties in accordance with the homes cleaning schedule, completing documentation as required.
- Ensure that all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with all residents, family, visitors and colleagues.
- To shampoo carpets as required.
- To clean all equipment used and report all damaged equipment to a manager.
- To observe COSHH and other health & safety regulations including infection control.
- To attend relevant learning opportunities and team meetings when required.
YOU: The successful Housekeeper will:

- Have experience of doing industrial laundry and the equipment to undertake it.
