Due to the continued success, FitzRoy is recruiting for an enhanced Senior Support Worker Manager in Oxfordshire, who has experience with complex support needs and mental health conditions. People supported in our services may show behaviours of concern or have a forensic background. Individuals can be supported in a community setting, possibly under a care and treatment order or sections of the Mental Health Act.
You will work with service users to help them live a fulfilled and happy life, while promoting their independence. You will assist them in developing positive relationships and being valued as equal members of their local community as part of their rehabilitation.
We provide person-centred support and are looking for motivated, passionate individuals who are ready for a challenge, can use their own initiative, and think outside the box.
You will be expected to act as a role model for excellent practice, serve as the senior contact for the team in the absence of the Manager, and support the management team with various tasks.
You will work in partnership with the staff team, internal and external stakeholders, professionals, and the local community to achieve objectives using best practice guidelines and FitzRoy values.
Provide clear direction and guidance to develop the team in supporting individuals to lead full and active lives as community members. Carry out support worker activities to a high standard and contribute to a culture of open communication and constructive feedback with colleagues and the management team.
