Specialising in design, sourcing, sales, and distribution, we work with major online platforms and high-street retailers across the UK, Europe, and North America. We are a growing house of brands, combining iconic names like Bench, Hype and NICCE with operational excellence and a clear path for scalable growth.

We are looking for an experienced Marketing Manager to join the growing team here at Apparel Brands. This role is suitable for a candidate looking to work across all facets of brand and marketing, and gain experience on multiple brands. The Marketing Manager plays a pivotal role in delivering our brand strategy, communication and activation plans.

An example day in the role could involve:

  • Presenting ideas to a third partner retailer for upcoming retailer campaign.
  • Identifying and booking creative production team for an upcoming photoshoot day.
  • Aligning with the eCom function on upcoming commercial promotions and briefing content requirements.
  • Providing feedback on a talent partnership proposal.
  • Reporting on the previous months social media performance.

Apparel Brands operates a portfolio of brands, including streetwear label NICCE, fashion brand Bench and kids backpack & clothing brand Hype. The successful candidate will report into the Head of Marketing and lead across 1-2 brands.

Key responsibilities:

  • Contribute to brand strategy and objectives, brand tracking set-up and reporting and annual planning.
  • Act as brand champion within Apparel Brands. Contribute to and present company updates and internal presentations.
  • Work with Creative Production and Graphic Design teams to ideate, produce and deliver creative and marketing assets across eCom, wholesale retail and marketing requirements.
  • Manage social media accounts, trend identification, ideating and refining creative concepts, content briefing and roll-out, and reporting.
  • Manage influencer, collab, PR & talent outreach, briefing, partnerships, events and reporting.
  • Manage and grow relationships with Wholesale retail partners. Brief and deliver retailer marketing activation plans and content requirements, for both in-store and digital channels.
  • Input into the eCommerce function to support site, email, affiliates & paid ads activation plans and content requirements.
  • Manage budgets and invoicing.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure brand consistency and to support the go-to-market process.
  • Manage stakeholders by collating monthly / quarterly marketing reports and maintaining brand calendars.

Skills and experience:

  • 4-5 years marketing experience within fashion, streetwear, sport or adjacent fields.
  • Follow and navigate industry, consumer and cultural trends.
  • Social media native and passion for the platforms.
  • Demonstrated project management, including prioritisation and managing multiple projects.
  • Strong collaborator with experience building and managing strong relationships, specifically with external parties.
  • Ability to approach tasks with a creative eye, coupled with commercial acumen.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable getting stuck in to all areas and tasks.

This is a full-time office based role. Our office is in the heart of the Northern Quarter in Manchester city centre, a short walk from nearby tram, bus and train stations.
