7.5T Delivery Driver

We are currently looking to recruit for a number of 7.5t Drivers for a temp to perm contract in Basingstoke.

Role requirements of a 7.5t driver:

1. Monday – Sunday work with a 4 on/3 off shift pattern – you will need to work some weekend shifts
2. Starts between 6-7am
3. Valid, in-date CPC and Tacho Card
4. £14.21 per hour – increased to £15.93 by including holiday within the rate
5. Newly passed drivers welcome to apply

Responsibilities of a 7.5t driver:

1. Safely operate and work as a 7.5t driver to transport goods direct to customers’ homes – this can include high-end electricals and white goods
2. Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently
3. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
4. Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
5. This role will involve handball
6. Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during transportation
7. Working with a driver\’s mate
