We are currently looking to recruit for a number of 7.5t Drivers for a temp to perm contract in Basingstoke.
Role requirements of a 7.5t driver:
- Monday - Sunday work with a 4 on/3 off shift pattern - you will need to work some weekend shifts
- Starts between 6-7am
- Valid, in-date CPC and Tacho Card
- £14.21 per hour - increased to £15.93 by including holiday within the rate
- Newly passed drivers welcome to apply
Responsibilities of a 7.5t driver:
- Safely operate and work as a 7.5t driver to transport goods direct to customers’ homes - this can include high-end electricals and white goods
- Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenance
- This role will involve handball
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations during transportation
- Working with a driver's mate
