We have an exciting opportunity to join us as a Planning Enforcement Officer! This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working, and a salary of £32,002 - £35,719 per annum.

The Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Planning Enforcement Officer to join the Enforcement and Conservation Team within the wider Planning Service function. You may already have experience of the role, or you may be looking to take your first steps into the world of planning enforcement; either way, you will be well supported in the role by the Team Leader, Principal and Senior Enforcement Officers.

As a Planning Enforcement Officer you will deal with a range of alleged breaches of planning control, including householder development, advertisements, material changes in the use of land, and recommend formal enforcement action where it is considered expedient. You will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload and be involved in the appeal process and Court processes, learning from senior members of the team.
