My client are seeking a strategic and experienced leader to join their team as Director of Construction Health and Safety (EHS) – Europe. In this role, you will be responsible for shaping and driving the vision, strategy, and execution of environmental, health, and safety programs across the European construction operations.
You will lead the development and continuous improvement of EHS systems, ensuring alignment with both business objectives and core values. This position will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of safety, operational excellence, and regulatory compliance across all European construction projects.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS policies, procedures, and compliance programs across the full project portfolio.
- Ensure adherence to all relevant EHS regulations and standards across corporate offices, operations, and construction sites.
- Ensure compliance for all required EHS reporting across the European Project portfolio.
- Build and lead a team of external EHS professionals to support all parts of the projects across Europe.
Requirements:
- Ten+ years of EHS executive leadership with multiple sites including construction sites across Europe.
- Fifteen+ years of related experience in data centers, construction, energy industries or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or relevant professional experience.
- Extensive knowledge of EHS compliance regulations across Europe.
- Availability to travel internationally; ability to travel up to 25% of the time.
