R&D Tax Manager

Leonid Group is exclusively partnered with a Top 10 firm in search of an R&D Tax Manager. This role offers the opportunity to manage a large client portfolio and significantly contribute to the development of the Innovation Incentives team. You will have the scope to shape your career progression within the firm, with opportunities to expand into wider Corporate Tax or Incentive products (CA, LRR, PB, etc.). The position can be based at various client offices with hybrid working options.

The opportunity

As an R&D Tax Manager, you will:

1. Own and manage a client portfolio with increased responsibility, oversee team portfolios, and contribute to workflow planning.
2. Meet revenue and profitability targets.
3. Prepare R&D reports for HMRC submissions and provide high-standard R&D tax client services.
4. Demonstrate a collaborative approach and technical risk awareness through research.
5. Expand your client base through organized business development activities such as networking, client referrals, and developing referrer relationships.
6. Deliver technical advice and support colleagues on innovation incentives and tax planning for innovative companies.

What are we looking for?

• Experience across multiple sectors is advantageous.
• Strong corporate tax background with proven experience in R&D claims.
• Technical knowledge and research skills in complex tax legislation areas.
