A successful chartered firm of accountants based near Nailsea is looking to recruit a Charity Accounts and Audit Assistant level addition into their team mouldable in level and fit around the right person's background and experience. The opportunity provides increasing responsibility, technical skill development, and support on offer, as you develop within this firm and role, focused on working with clients within the charity sector.

Based near Nailsea, the firm has been undergoing continued growth and is a well-established and highly regarded chartered accountancy practice. The firm acts for wide-ranging OMBs up to and over the audit threshold in turnovers across various industry sectors, along with an excellent reputation and client base focused within the charity and wider not-for-profit sectors. You will join the team as a Charity Accounts and Audit Assistant, a key addition mouldable in level to fit and work around the right person's background and existing experience levels. You will take on increasing responsibility for the hands-on provision of year-end accounts preparation on examinations and assisting on charity audits as you develop within this firm and role. You will have the opportunity to develop technically and progress, carving a long-term career move as a highly valued addition in this team of experienced accountants with support on offer for those pursuing further qualifications.

For this Charity Accounts and Audit Assistant role, you may be AAT qualified, or studying at AAT level 3 or 4, or have developed your career entirely through experience only to date. Equally, you could be pursuing and studying for ACCA, ACA, or other qualifications. You will have a background working in the accountancy practice sector for an accounting firm of any size, with anything from one to three years' experience to date, or considerably more. You will bring a mix, or any of: audit, year-end accounts preparation, tax, bookkeeping, and VAT experience so far and be looking to find a new career move, where you can become a key, long-term addition to a successful team and firm with an interest in working with clients within the charity sector.
