Hays Education is working with a vibrant school in Hinckley to find a Qualified Teaching Assistant to join their team from January until the end of the academic year. The ideal candidate has a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification and has experience delivering phonics interventions across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You will be joining a passionate team of teachers supported by a local academy trust., In your new job as a Teaching Assistant with Hays, you will work alongside class Teachers to create an enjoyable working environment for pupils by offering support in the classroom in English and Maths. You’ll work collaboratively to foster positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues. You will also benefit from the support of your dedicated Recruitment Consultant, Hollie, who will be on-hand throughout your placement and beyond.
To be successful in your new job, you will hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have recent experience working with Key Stage 2 pupils. This role is suitable for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) with strong experience in Key Stage 2. You’ll need to have excellent behaviour management skills and be prepared to support SEND and EAL pupils. Most importantly, you’ll be confident stepping into a new school ready to build relationships quickly!
