Our highly reputable client in Harrow-on-the-Hill seeks a Finance Officer to join their friendly team.

The Finance Officer supports the Financial Controller in managing the finances by carrying out essential accounting tasks such as processing transactions and maintaining accurate financial records. This role ensures that all financial data is recorded correctly and reported on time, enabling effective decision-making and strategic planning.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Sales Ledger: Preparation, Management and Submission of monthly and termly direct debit collections. Update direct debits and changes of bank details. Administering deposit refunds. Managing queries concerning fees, extras and fees in lieu invoices. Inputting billing data onto billing software e.g. fees, extra charges, insurance, etc.
  • Credit Control: Maintain Credit Control Excel file and regularly updated. Follow up on unpaid fees and failed direct debits promptly. Producing monthly debtor reports for the Financial Controller. Reporting on a weekly basis to the Financial Controller the status of overdue accounts.
  • Payroll: Assist with monthly payroll preparation and communication. File payroll documentation and upload pay...
