We’re looking for an experienced and reliable Workshop Assembler to join our team at our Aberdeen branch. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of the company by ensuring our products are assembled to the highest standards. If you have a background in assembly and a keen attention to detail, we want you on our team!
What You’ll Do:
- Operate machinery to accurately machine junction boxes and control stations as required.
- Assemble junction boxes and control stations, ensuring quality standards are met.
- Ensure all associated paperwork is correctly completed.
- Record serial numbers into the computer system to maintain accurate product tracking and inventory records.
- Inspect assembled junction boxes and control stations to ensure they meet all quality and safety standards.
- Ensure workshop stock is maintained at appropriate levels.
- Perform general tidiness and maintenance of the workshop area to ensure a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
- Assist within the warehouse as and when required, ensuring seamless operations across the facility.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in a workshop or assembly environment. However, consideration will be given to candidates with the right attitude and willingness to learn.
- Basic Ex/ATEX Principles knowledge (training will be provided).
- Competency to assemble all manufacturer’s products (training will be provided).
- Good all-round knowledge of Electrical/Cable products (ongoing training will be provided).
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
