Our client is looking for a Building Control Surveyor (registered 2A – 2F) to join them for a contract role.. This role is with our local authority client based in the Greater Manchester area. The role will be very autonomous, and you will be expected to undertake complex assessment work under minimal supervision. You will be responsible for ensuring that all building works are carried out in accordance with Building Regulations, Public Health and Local Acts and that public and private buildings are in the condition required by legislation to protect the health and safety of the public (within the limits of the experience of the postholder). Our client is looking for an established Surveyor who as undertaken a similar role within a Local Authority. The rate offered is £50/hr (umbrella) and this role will initially run until the end of March 2025. Our client offers hybrid working. You will need to be able to attend site visits across the borough on a weekly basis. Please get in touch for further details.
