We are seeking a Joiner to join our team as a Carpenter Co-worker, where you'll work on a variety of projects. The ideal candidate will have experience with various tools and materials, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to follow instructions. WHAT WE OFFERThe Start Date of employment will be: March 2025. Starting salary of £30,000 per annum, based on competence and experience. 39 Hours working 5 days per week. This role might require availability to work late evenings, weekends, and night shifts. Shifts may change according to business/project needs. We can discuss flexibility to match your life and our business needs during the interview.

- Previous carpentry experience gained in a commercial business, ideally retail fit-out or from exhibition installations, with good attention to detail.

- Proven ability to prioritise and organise your workload in order to make the most efficient use of available time and meet agreed goals and deadlines.
- Clear communication with the ability to explain concepts verbally and with visual interpretation.
- You are self-motivated and can work on your initiative but also enjoy collaborating as part of a team.
- Following work briefs agreed with colleagues to implement all store media, such as wall constructions, floor laying, painting and the building of complex furniture installations.
- Planning and ordering materials and resources, ensuring accurate costs are sought and agreed in order to maximise efficiency and minimise costs.
- Working with your colleagues to make sure the store is always in excellent shape to inspire our customers.
- Focus on key tasks to meet the needs and expectations of store visitors and minimise disruption when working on the shop floor.
- Be conscious of the importance of safety at all times while working on the shop floor and take fast action when safety is compromised.
