St John’s College wishes to appoint a Tutor for Undergraduate Admissions (Admissions Tutor) to provide leadership and management across our outreach, recruitment and admissions activities in relation to undergraduate study at the College. The Admissions Tutor works closely with and reports to the Senior Tutor, and collaboratively across the Fellowship and key committees.
The role offers an exciting opportunity to help deliver the College’s educational priorities, developing and implementing plans and projects to progress our strategic objectives for undergraduate admissions. We seek an Admissions Tutor who will build, lead and inspire a high-performing team within a forward-looking, collaborative College culture, who evidences a deep commitment to high academic standards, widening participation and effective delivery, and who combines understanding, expertise and a capacity for innovation with a track record of making things happen. The Admissions Tutor will draw on the support and expertise of our excellent group of College Officers and heads of department.
The closing date for the receipt of completed applications is 9am on Wednesday 19 February 2025. Interviews are expected to be held on 13 March 2025.
