We are looking to add an experienced Planner to the team here at Chubb Systems, to work on key large UK national infrastructure projects. This role is based out of our Blackburn HQ with a hybrid element. A permanent opportunity, this would suit a Planner with experience in P6 and Microsoft Project experience, coming from a large construction background.

Responsibilities:

  • Pre Contract Administration: Working with the Bids/Estimating, operational and commercial team(s) to create baseline project plans from first principles. Creation and periodic updating of appropriate programmes/business control data to monitor and report against the overall Capacity of the business.
  • Post Contract Administration: In conjunction with the project team(s), prepare supporting information for contractual letters to customers, subcontractors and suppliers. Post contract liaison with Customers and their consultant Project Management, Planning and Commercial team(s).
  • Project Accounting & Reporting: Creation of the appropriate base Project Control methodology from first principles. Preparation and monitoring of monthly Project Controls Dashboards, including Gantt Chart Baseline updates.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role, managing the commercial outcome of projects of similar nature.
  • Working towards or has membership of relevant professional body, such as the CIOB.
  • Must be able to obtain Full Security Clearance.

This opportunity would suit a Planner based within commutable distance of Blackburn including Manchester, Wigan, Bolton, Bury, Burnley, Preston, Clitheroe, Blackpool, Huddersfield, Halifax, Lancashire, West Yorkshire.
