Up to £40,000 pa, depending on experience - additional earnings through out of hours call out and overtime available!

Our main office is in Kent; however, the areas the successful candidate will be working in are Essex, East London, North London, and West London. (Postcodes SS, CM, IG, N, NW, EN, E, RM, W, WD, HA)

Who are we: Riverside Direct are part of a wholly owned subsidiary of the Riverside Group who provide services to 11,500 homes across the South and Central regions of England.

What we are looking for: Here at Riverside Direct, we are searching for a skilled Electrician to help benefit the lives of their local community. Based in Essex/Ilford/North London.

Role Criteria:

  • Experience with installing, servicing and maintaining electrical systems and appliances in accordance with the current Edition of The IET Wiring Regulations.
  • Knowledge to install, repair, inspect & test electrical installations and the ability to fill in correctly the appropriate Electrical Certificate or Electrical Condition Report.
  • Carry out EICRs and remedial upgrades to void properties, occasionally carry out day-to-day repairs.

Qualifications required:

  • NVQ/SVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation Work or City & Guilds 2360 Part 2 certificate or SCOTVEC National Certificate in Electrical Installation.
  • 17th Edition AMD 3 and/or 18th edition.
  • City & Guilds 2391 (Inspection, testing and certification) or equivalent (G&G 2394/95).
  • Ideally previous domestic, social housing experience preferred but not essential.
