Salary and Benefits:
- Working Pattern: Monday to Friday.
- Pay Scale: £16.87 per hour based on a 7.5 hour day plus additional pay for evenings and overnights (Equates to £135 per day plus evenings/overnights).
- These positions are on a fixed-term zero-hour contract.

Entrust requires a Lead Instructor to manage the running of the Wilderness Academy and Base Camps programmes within Staffordshire. Entrust Outdoors is an exciting business with a great pedigree, delivering the highest quality outdoor education in a sustainable and commercial way.
The post holders will be expected to:
- Lead the delivery of the Residential experience at the allocated site.
- Effectively plan and deliver high-quality educational sessions with an emphasis on safe practice, learning outcomes, and a high standard of customer service.
- Drive a van containing all the kit and site equipment required for Wilderness Academy and Base Camp programmes.
- Lead and work with the team to ensure compliance with health and safety requirements/regulations and local working practice.
- Coordinate the day-to-day duties of a team of staff.
- Follow and comply with policies and procedures around Safeguarding, incident management and recording, information security governance, health and safety, and risk assessment protocol.
- Deliver a full and wide range of activities (qualification dependent) if required.
- Be flexible in their availability to work, including evenings and overnights.
- Be reflective in their practice, looking for continuous development and improvement in both their own and the site's provision of the education experience.
- Liaise between our clients and suppliers as needed.
Post holders will ideally have the following experience/skills:
- Experience working with young people in the outdoors.
- Current and passionate in engaging in a range of outdoor activities.
- Passionate about engaging young people and developing life skills.
- High personal standards in presentation, communication, and delivering customer service.
- Relevant experience working in a residential outdoor education setting and delivering outdoor education programmes desirable.
Successful candidates will be invited to an assessment day and expected to attend training. Enhanced DBS will be completed for you. Suitable references will be required for this role.
Essential: Full driving licence.
