We are seeking a passionate and experienced School Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality, nutritious meals to our students and staff. This role requires creativity, excellent culinary skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and prepare a variety of healthy and balanced meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and school policies.
  • Ensure all meals are prepared and served in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of food items.
  • Collaborate with school staff to accommodate special dietary needs and preferences.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff as needed.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a chef, preferably in a school or similar setting.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Creativity and a passion for cooking.
  • A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is required.
