Job Description:

Our client is a leading international asset management firm seeking a Director to manage the compliance department.

Accountabilities:

• Provide governance, operational control, and regulatory expertise for IAM activities.
• Support the Regulatory Compliance Management (RCM) Program, including maintaining the regulatory library, control design, and monitoring regulatory changes.
• Promote a culture of compliance and strong risk management aligned with the company\’s risk appetite.
• Maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and partners.
• Stay informed on business trends, risks, and control issues to protect business interests.
• Maintain a culture of risk management and compliance through policy manuals and processes.
• Act as governance contact for Third-Party Distributors as needed.
• Lead the implementation of best practices and enhancements.
• Lead remediation processes when control gaps are found and support action plan development.
• Communicate issues effectively to relevant stakeholders.
• Support marketing reviews for IAM, including RFPs, RFIs, and website governance.
• Guide the business through operational and regulatory risk activities.
• Advise stakeholders on governance and regulatory requirements.
• Manage change governance with the Asset Management Business Governance team.
• Implement and maintain a Supervision Framework for oversight.
• Chair the International Asset Management Policy Oversight Committee.
• Support projects and initiatives with RPG support.
• Mentor colleagues supporting IAM activities.
