Job Description:
We are seeking experienced Procurement professionals for an exciting 6-month fixed-term contract with a world-renowned leader in the Facilities Management (FM) sector. This role involves managing procurement activities for a major central Government client, focusing on strategic sourcing, supplier management, and delivery across FM, Capital Projects, and Construction spend.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement robust contracting processes to ensure full and compliant contracts with suppliers, collaborating closely with Legal and Supply Chain & Procurement teams.
- Coordinate with Operational Teams to align Scope of Works with technical and client expectations.
- Ensure compliance and assurance requirements are met through flow-downs for suppliers.
- Act as the liaison between Supply Chain, Procurement Business Partner, Legal, and other stakeholders to maintain alignment and progress.
- Maintain supplier assurance and contractual governance.
- Work efficiently under pressure and manage workload effectively.
- Drive Contract Management & Risk Mitigation to minimize operational, contractual, and financial risks by securing favorable contractual terms.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in Procurement, preferably with FM or Construction categories, though other Indirects will be considered.
- Experience in negotiating and drafting contract clauses.
- Strong negotiation and collaboration skills.
- Degree-level education preferred.
- Professional certification such as CIPS is advantageous.
- Excellent business acumen and contracting experience.
- Exceptional communication skills to engage with stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Proven change management capabilities.
- Knowledge of the Public Sector is a plus.
This role is based at our client\’s offices in Surrey, requiring three days in the office each week. Only candidates with the right to work in the UK will be considered.
