Job Description:

We’re building the future of retail with a cutting-edge on-demand marketplace app that connects retailers with local customers in real time. Our platform enables users to shop from nearby retailers and receive items at their doorstep instantly.

We are seeking a dynamic Retail Development Lead with deep roots in the UK retail sector to spearhead our retail onboarding efforts . You will play a pivotal role in shaping our retail supply, working closely with high street stores to bring them onto our platform. This is an equity-only position , ideal for someone passionate about startups, retail innovation, and building from the ground up.

Tasks

• Identify, approach, and secure high street retailers across key UK cities to join the platform.
• Leverage existing relationships and networks in the retail industry to accelerate onboarding.
• Pitch the value proposition of our marketplace app to retail partners.
• Collaborate with the founding team on onboarding strategy, pricing models, and user experience.
• Provide feedback from retailers to influence product and marketing decisions.

Requirements

• Proven experience in business development , partnerships, or account management in retail, marketplaces, or B2B SaaS.
• Strong network of retailers , brands, or retail associations in the UK.
• Entrepreneurial spirit with a hands-on, scrappy approach.
• Clear, persuasive communicator who can build trust with stakeholders.
• Passion for retail tech, local commerce, and startup culture.
• Be a founding team member with direct impact on the company’s success.
