Catering and Events Manager - Full Time

Moor Park Golf Club is looking for an experienced events supervisor to assist the Clubhouse Manager and Operations Manager in delivering numerous events. Variety of events from weddings, parties, private dining and golf days Wonderful and idyllic setting within a 17th Century Mansion The successful candidate will be required to support the running of large events and also run independent, smaller, private events. Responsibilities would include: Supervising and delivering events Ensuring function room setups are as per event forms and that our standards are maintained. Anticipating event needs, respond promptly and create solutions to issues that may arise. Always aim to improve the guest journey and create ‘WOW experiences’ for our customers. Hosting pre and post service briefings. Being proactive in the housekeeping of our event rooms ensuring customer areas are well maintained and in excellent working order. Ensure we maintain a clean and productive working environment and all stock is stored, cleaned and well maintained. Ensure all back of house storage areas are well maintained and replenished. The security and preventative maintenance of all function rooms. Report any issues and/or necessary work needed to Maintenance ensuring this is followed up and auctioned. Establishing personal but professional rapport with Members, guests and staff alike. Responsible for leading a small team to deliver smaller events, therefore need to ensure effective communication, productivity levels are high and attention to detail maintained by all team members Pay: £26,000.00-£30,000.00 per year depending on experience Company pension On-site parking Full time, contract
