Job Description
Job Opportunity: CCNA Level Engineer
We are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a CCNA-level engineer based in Yorkshire to join our growing IT professional services company. With several active projects scheduled throughout 2025, we are seeking dedicated, recently qualified CCNA (or equivalent) engineers who are eager to advance their careers in an established professional services environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Copying and loading switch configurations.
- Analyzing and verifying live connections on network switches.
- Creating patching schedules and connections with neighboring devices and core switches.
- Collaborating with end clients to conduct testing and support users.
- Managing migrations and network deployments.
- Working with a diverse range of vendor hardware, including Cisco, HP, Dell, Aruba, Checkpoint, Juniper, F5, Palo Alto, and more.
- Installing access points.
- Availability for some unsociable hours.
Requirements:
- Must possess a laptop, console cable, mobile device, and standard toolkit. Additional tools such as a stepladder and drills may be required.
- Own car and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Field Engineer experience: 2 years (required).
- Network Engineer experience: 2 years (required).
- CCNA certification (preferred).
- Willingness to travel 100% (required).
Salary and Benefits:
- Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 per year.
- Full-time, permanent position.
