What’s the role?
About The Ned: The Ned and Ned’s Club are a global collection of hotels, clubs, spas, and restaurants for like-minded individuals to meet, work and have a good time. The Ned launched in 2017 in the heart of the City, in the former Midland Bank headquarters. The Ned City of London houses Ned’s Club - a private members’ space, gym and rooftop - alongside a public spa, a full floor of events spaces, ten restaurants and bars and 250 hotel bedrooms.
Where you’ll be working: You’ll be mainly based out of The Ned London, located in the beautiful old Midland Bank. We’re five days a week in the office, as we’re very relationship-focused and it’s just not the same on a screen.
Reporting to the Director of Communications you will:
- Oversee all aspects of press, social media, and graphic design to deliver a creative, multi-media communications plan
- Lead on all people leadership tasks for your team – including recruitment, development, and performance chats
- Implement the communications strategy across the property in collaboration with the wider team
- Develop and execute communications plans to secure coverage across traditional, digital, and social media platforms
- Build and maintain strong media relationships and proactively pitch stories across hotel disciplines
- Lead the creation and curation of compelling content, including newsletters, social media campaigns, and press materials
