This is a hands-on role that involves servicing, repairing, and maintaining a range of diesel pumps and ancillary equipment on customer sites, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency., * Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and pumps, ensuring high standards of safety and quality.

Work both in the branch workshop and on customer sites, delivering exceptional service.

Adhere to all Health and Safety regulations, including correct use of PPE and daily vehicle defect reporting.

Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.

Maintain accurate records, including obtaining necessary signatures for task completion.

Ensure work areas and vehicles are kept clean and organised, maintaining high housekeeping standards.

Perform daily maintenance checks on the company vehicle, keeping it clean and operational.
Due to the nature of the branch operations, you will also participate in a call-out rota with a generous standby allowance and excellent overtime payments.

Demonstrable experience working with diesel engines or within a mechanical engineering role.

Previous experience in a plant environment, working on-site with customers or in a workshop, is highly desirable.

Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve underlying issues.

NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent work experience is essential.
