Overview
You will collaborate with the delivery team including Product Owners, Service Designers, Business Users and Architects to understand client and user needs and requirements and participate in designing appropriate solutions. You will refine scope and requirements, align priorities and backlogs and produce artefacts including Process Flows, Customer journey maps, User Stories and defining Functional/non-functional/operational needs. Taking a User Centric approach, you will work with other research and design team members to test options with wider user groups and participate in Show & Tell sessions for stakeholders. You will assist the team in preparing for assurance and quality gates, always focusing on delivering the right quality on time and on budget.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the delivery team (Product Owners, Service Designers, Business Users and Architects) to understand client and user needs and design solutions.
• Refine scope and requirements, align priorities and backlogs, and produce artefacts such as Process Flows, Customer journey maps, and User Stories.
• Define functional, non-functional, and operational needs.
• Apply a user-centric approach to test options and solutions with wider user groups and participate in stakeholder Show & Tell sessions.
• Assist the team in preparing for assurance and quality gates to deliver on time and on budget.

Qualifications

Essential

• Demonstrable experience in working in Agile Delivery teams adopting agile tools
• Experience as a BA, investigating, assimilating, and analyzing different needs, constraints, and problems. Ability to document outcomes in simple, easy-to-understand language.
• Experience analysing legacy system data structures, indexes, and access patterns, and documenting API-driven system integrations.
• Strong analytical skills including stakeholder management, relationship building, and teamwork.
• Experience working with Product Owners to groom product backlog and produce meaningful Epics/Stories consumable by technical teams.
• Experience in process modelling and customer journey mapping and assisting user testing.
• Experience with tools such as Confluence, Jira, Visio, Mural, Miro, etc.
• Understanding of Service Maps and aligning outputs with operating models.
• Candidates must have the right to work in the UK.

Desirable

• Experience of UK Public Sector services is desirable.
