The starting salary for an NQSW completing the ASYE programme is £34,902 per annum, rising to £37,185 upon successful completion of the programme.

About the Role

You will support adults and their families with complex social needs, promoting independence and wellbeing within legal frameworks. You\’ll work within a multidisciplinary team, sharing best practices and providing specialist advice as a Social Worker.

Our teams in South Essex are based mainly in Basildon, with opportunities to work with health partners and enjoy a variety of urban and rural settings. All teams support professional development to meet SWE regulations.

About You

You should be a qualified social worker registered with Social Work England, with significant experience in social work practice, legislation, and multi-agency collaboration. Experience in chairing meetings and building strong community and partner relationships is essential.

You will also need:

• Evidence of ongoing professional development.
• An understanding of the financial aspects of care packages.
• The ability to make clear decisions and manage risks.

A driving licence and access to a vehicle or alternative mobility solutions are essential, as the role involves travel around Essex.
