Requirements

We Are Looking For:

Major project main layers, Mains Renewals gangs, Service layers, Metering, Repair & Maintenance teams. Roles available in Hampshire, Southwest London and Surrey for Teams or Individuals. No sub-contractors or agencies.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain own and others\’ health and safety, carrying out safety checks and inspections to vehicles, plant, equipment, and sites as instructed, as well as reporting any accidents, near misses, faults, damages or defects using appropriate documentation.
• Follow health and hygiene rules, ensuring that work is undertaken with due regard to the environment.
• Excavate holes using safe digging methods to avoid damage to underground utility apparatus.
• Manhandle materials, plant and equipment.
• Complete installations to the appropriate standards ensuring good jointing and hygiene practices are followed.
• Drive Company vehicles with due regard to the Road Traffic Act and other road users.
• Operate mobile plant and maintain site, vehicle, plant, and equipment tidiness and security.
• Install and maintain road works to ‘Chapter 8’ standard.
• Assist members of the public, clients’ representatives and other officials in relation to Company business.
• Undertake any other reasonable instructions given by management or supervision.

Experience/Qualifications:

• NCO/NVQ Qualification.
• Experience of working in the Water Industry.
• Right to work and live in the UK.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• NRSWA Streetworks Qualification.
• Machine Excavator.
• Confined Spaces Training (Desirable).
