Are you an experienced finance professional with a passion for leading teams and driving financial excellence in the construction sector? A growing company in Kettering is seeking a talented Finance Manager to join their dynamic finance team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the Head of Finance during a period of business expansion, managing key financial processes and mentoring a team of three.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and financial reports.
- Oversee Sales and Purchase ledger teams, ensuring coding accuracy and consistency.
- Manage monthly payroll processing in collaboration with HR and submit CIS and VAT returns.
- Monitor project data to support robust financial tracking and reporting.
- Support the implementation of new ERP software (COINS).
- Assist with annual audits and regulatory reporting.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of three direct reports in finance.
- Recognised accountancy qualification (ACCA, ACA, or CIMA).
- Experience in project accounting within the construction industry is highly desirable.
- Proven leadership skills with a track record of managing and mentoring teams.
- Strong organisational skills, capable of meeting tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and ideally familiar with Sage 200/COINS (training provided if needed).
- Exceptional attention to detail and excellent communication skills for internal and external stakeholder engagement.
