Assembly Operative

The Recruitment Group is hiring!

Our client is a leading manufacturer based in Crick (NN6) currently looking for Assembly Operatives to join their team!

Responsibilities as an Assembly Operative:

• Locate, pick and issue parts to works orders, from good warehouse locations.
• Prepare a works order picked kit for production.
• Check accuracy of parts transacted and ensure parts are correctly issued; a high level of accuracy is essential.
• Locate completed kit into warehouse racking, storing all kits by shipset order.
• Ensure safe use of machinery such as forklift or reach truck, and adhere to all health & safety guidelines at all times in the warehouse and when in other areas.
• Coordinate and perform stock counts of picked shipsets when required.
• Carry out stock counts when requested by the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Conduct a short investigation of missing parts before reporting to the Warehouse Leader or Senior Warehouse Inventory operator.

Skills required as an Assembly Operative:

• Demonstrates strong attention to detail and accuracy of work at all times.
• Experience in a warehouse environment is essential.
• Able to work under pressure without compromising on quality.
• Capable of operating transaction/kitting equipment and ASC.
• Must have good communication skills.

The details:

• £11.50 per hour (increasing to £12.65 per hour after completing 12 weeks).
• Day shift.
• 07:30 – 16:00 (Monday to Thursday) & 07:30 – 13:00 (Fridays).
• Temporary ongoing positions.
