Practice: Braeside Medical Practice

Position: GP Partner – 6-9 sessions (negotiable), starting November 2025

Due to retirement, we are seeking a positive and motivated GP Partner to join our experienced and friendly team. We are flexible with start dates and willing to wait for the right candidate.

We are a medium-sized, semi-rural practice located in Galashiels, within easy commuting distance of Edinburgh via the Borders Railway. Our NHS services include Treatment Room, District Nursing, Midwifery, Health Visiting, Physiotherapy, Sexual Health, Podiatry, and Dental services.

The local District General Hospital is only 3 miles away, with accessible specialist services and open access to x-ray, US, CT, MRI scans, and physiological studies. Our Out of Hours Service is excellent.

Our current clinical systems are EMIS PCS, Docman, and GP Order Comms. The practice team includes two established GP partners, two salaried GPs, two ANPs, and one Practice Nurse. We serve a list size of approximately 4,700 patients.
