A well-established and highly regarded accountancy firm based in Milton Keynes is seeking a confident and experienced Private Client Tax Manager to join their growing tax team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a tax professional who thrives in a client-facing role and enjoys managing a portfolio of HNWIs, non-domiciled individuals, business owners, and trusts.

Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of private clients, including HNWIs, entrepreneurs, directors, and trusts
- Review and oversee the preparation of Self-Assessment tax returns and related compliance matters
- Provide technical advice on residency and domicile, capital gains tax, inheritance tax, and trust planning
- Liaise directly with clients and HMRC on a regular basis, building long-term relationships
- Support and mentor junior members of the team, providing technical reviews and development support
- Identify tax planning opportunities and contribute to internal knowledge sharing
- Assist partners and senior team members on bespoke advisory projects as needed
- Professionally qualified - CTA, ATT, or ACA (or equivalent)
- Solid background in personal tax compliance and advisory within a UK accountancy firm
- Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation, with a focus on private client issues
- Confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills and client-handling experience
- Able to manage deadlines and priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with tax software (e.g. CCH, IRIS, Digita) is advantageous
