Business Development Manager – Scotland

My client is a long-established, well-respected Asset Finance Brokerage offering an exceptional career opportunity and earnings potential. You will proactively identify and approach customers to promote the company’s financing products and services. Recent experience in Asset Finance, Vehicle, Technical, and Capital Equipment Sales.

Your role:

• To build key customer relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate and close business deals.
• Maintain knowledge of current market conditions.
• Maintain and develop relationships with existing customers to promote business and identify further opportunities to cross-sell other group products.
• Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Ensure that the database is updated accurately and comprehensively.
• Work in line with the FCA Consumer Duty Regulations within ASAF at all times.
• Adhere to the Company’s Anti-Money Laundering Policy.

You will be:

• Thoughtful, inspiring and driven.
• Able to close a deal.
• Able to analyse, understand and make sound decisions based on financial information
• Good working knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Numerate and comfortable when handling financial transactions.
• Resilient under pressure with a positive approach to the implementation of change.

You will have:

• Recent and relevant Asset Finance sales experience.
• A proven track record of sales growth.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• The ability to maintain a SAF qualification.
