The Role: As the BMS Quality Assurance Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining and improving the company\βs quality management systems. You\βll ensure full compliance with all relevant aerospace quality standards and regulatory requirements while leading internal and external audits and driving continuous improvement across the business. Key Responsibilities: Quality Compliance: Ensure the company maintains and gains required certifications and approvals (ISO 9001, AS 9100, EASA part 21G, 21O, 145). Audit Leadership: Manage the company\βs audit programme, including internal and supplier audits, while organising external regulatory audits and liaising with third-party bodies. Strategy & Improvement: Lead the BMS Quality Assurance strategy, working closely with various departments to improve performance and support business objectives. Data-Driven Reporting: Prepare reports and data for senior management, monthly reviews, and customer meetings, ensuring transparency and accuracy. Documentation & Non-Conformance Management: Oversee the management of essential company documents, address non-conformities, and ensure the closure of audit findings. Training & Communication: Provide BMS QA training and facilitate internal communication on quality issues and improvements. External Relations: Act as a key liaison with certification bodies, regulatory authorities, customers, and suppliers to ensure compliance and maintain high standards. What You\βll Bring: Extensive Aerospace Quality Experience: A strong background in Quality Management Systems, with relevant aerospace qualifications (ISO 9001, AS 9100) and regulatory experience (EASA part 21G, 145, 21O, 21J). Audit Expertise: Proven experience leading and managing internal and supplier audits, with a valid lead auditor certification. Analytical Skills: Advanced skills in data analysis, statistical process control (SPC), and quality improvement. Problem-Solving Leadership: Experience in root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions through structured problem-solving techniques (e.g., 8D). Communication & Organisation: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for building relationships and managing complex projects.
