Main Responsibilities

As our new Litigation Assistant, you will:

  • Support litigation solicitors to deliver fair treatment and outcomes for members, ensuring compliance with policies and standards set by Council, committees, and delegated authorities
  • Manage informal complaints and expressions of dissatisfaction to achieve first-touch resolution for members
  • Use appropriate communication channels to keep members informed, ensuring advice and support are policy-compliant, technically accurate, and delivered professionally and empathetically

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has an understanding of CPR and the litigation process
  • Possesses awareness/knowledge of litigated clinical negligence claims
  • Has strong attention to detail and is deadline-focused
  • Demonstrates excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Is IT literate, with practical experience of case management and telephone systems
