What Will You Be Doing?

This is a hands-on, night-shift role (approx. 9 PM – 6 AM) where you\’ll oversee all warehouse operations and support drivers while keeping everything running smoothly.

• Team Leadership: Start as a team of one and grow into a leader of many as the site expands. You\’ll also support a team of four drivers, ensuring efficient and smooth operations.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee key areas like inbound, outbound, cross-dock, and loading/offloading, ensuring efficiency at every step.
• Problem-Solving: Be the go-to person for resolving driver issues, finding cover for any absences, and tackling challenges head-on.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive process enhancements to keep us ahead of the game.
• Technology-Driven: Work with paperless warehouse management systems and handheld scanners.
• Health & Safety: Promote a safe environment across the depot.

What Are We Looking For?

You\’re independent, proactive, and ready to take ownership. You\’ll also bring:

• Experience: 1+ years in warehouse supervision, team leading, or management.
• Skills: Knowledge of WMS and handling devices like handheld scanners (essential).
• Qualifications: FLT Counterbalance licence (required) and IOSH/NEBOSH (desirable).
• Mindset: Confidence to work solo, thrive in fast-paced environments, and solve problems independently.
• Flexibility: Ready to work flexible night shifts with occasional adjustments as needed.
