Findhorn Foundation – a spiritual community and ecovillage

The Findhorn Foundation is a spiritual community, ecovillage, and an international centre for holistic learning, helping to unfold a new human consciousness and create a positive and sustainable future.

The Findhorn Foundation community is an experiment in conscious living, a learning centre, and an ecovillage. Based mainly at The Park, Findhorn, and at Cluny Hill in the nearby town of Forres.

Within the Findhorn Ecovillage at The Park, sustainable values are expressed in the built environment through our ecological houses, innovative use of building materials such as local stone and straw bales, the beauty in the architecture and gardens, and applied technology in the Living Machine sewage treatment facility and electricity-generating wind turbines.

Sustainable values are also expressed in the community’s social, economic, and educational initiatives.

Every year we welcome thousands of visitors from around the world to participate in our community life. If you can stay for a week or more, then an Experience Week is the best way to connect with the spirit of Findhorn. If you are unable to stay for 7 days for an Experience Week or other workshop, you can join us as a Short Term Guest for between 1 and 6 days.
