Projects typically involve discrete, highly variable problems that engage with these models as they learn to code. No prior AI experience is required.
About the opportunity: Outlier is seeking talented coders to help train generative AI models. This freelance, remote opportunity offers flexible hours to suit your schedule. Responsibilities include crafting and answering computer science questions to train AI models and evaluating/ranking AI-generated code.
Desired expertise:
- Enrolled in or graduated from a bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science from a selective institution.
- Ability to articulate complex concepts fluently in English.
- Excellent attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, and style guidelines.
Payment: Core project work by Tier 3 coding experts in the U.S. averages USD $30 - $50 per hour. Rates vary based on expertise, skills assessment, location, and project needs.
