Join a longstanding public sector organisation known for its commitment to excellence and innovation. This organisation is currently in a period of review and is looking for a temporary HR Partner / Project Specialist to join them for a 3-month period, to assess current ways of working, provide solutions / improvements and support with various upcoming initiatives. Some of the upcoming, specific areas of focus include EDI, digitisation, HR system upgrade/implementation, engagement, AI, environmental sustainability and upskilling management (relating to Complex ER Processes).

Your New Role

As HR Partner, you will assess current operations and implement improvements, driving positive change and, overall, making a meaningful impact on the organisation. The ideal candidate will possess a generalist background, which includes previous experience of providing strategic advice to managers and business leaders across a variety of HR matters. To be a success in this role, you will have a coaching style that fosters development and improvement across various project strands and have the ability to seamlessly integrate into the team, bringing fresh ideas and suggestions for the enhancement of processes and practices. (An understanding of public sector governance is desirable).

As a Temporary HR Partner - Projects, you will:

  • Assess the business and provide hands-on support.
  • Lead and support various HR projects, including EDI initiatives, digital HR systems implementation, and AI integration, plus others.
  • Act as a liaison between the service centre and HR partners, ensuring efficient communication and support.
  • Analyse staff survey results and disseminate findings to management teams, utilising the results and looking to implement new ways of working.
  • Provide coaching and advice to managers and business leaders on HR processes and improvements.
  • Support the service centre in handling complex queries and translating policies.
