Working for one of our clients in the Chatham-Kent region, Melo LLP is currently searching for motivated and experienced Insurance Agents to join their team in the Chatham-Kent area. As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for selling insurance policies to clients, providing excellent customer service, and meeting sales targets. This is a great opportunity for team players with strong sales skills and a passion for helping others.
Responsibilities:
- Sell various types of insurance policies to individuals and businesses
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs
- Educate clients on different insurance options and coverage plans
- Provide personalized recommendations based on clients' specific requirements
- Process policy applications, renewals, and claims accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms and conditions
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in insurance regulations
- Utilize telemarketing strategies to reach out to potential customers
- Assist clients with policy changes, billing inquiries, and other customer service needs
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of proven experience in insurance sales
- Valid OTL or RIBO Licence is mandatory
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong market knowledge and ability to identify potential customers
- Ability to negotiate effectively and close sales deals
- Experience with using the Sandler Sales system is an asset
- Experience selling Life and Living benefits is an asset
