This large, well-established and well-known optician is now looking for an Optical Assistant to join their team in the Camberley area. You will be joining a large team of 40+ in a professional yet clinical environment. This opportunity will be working full time, either 8:15am to 5:00pm or 9:30am to 6pm including one weekend day.
Competitive salary depending on experience – £24,000 to £27,000. Bonus scheme – profit based bonus (Approx £50 per month).
Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant:
- Dispensing spectacles to all levels
- Conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches
- Carrying out frame styling, adjustments, collections and giving patients advice on best options
- Reception duties and general admin
- Helping with the smooth running of the practice
Requirements of the Optical Assistant:
- A minimum of 12 months’ experience within optics
- Ability to dispense to all levels
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate well
- Ambitious, career-driven, enthusiastic person
As a member of the stores team you will have a valued input with best practice and clinical compliance.
Compensation for the Optical Assistant:
A competitive salary of up to £27,000 is on offer as well as a rewarding bonus scheme that can look to earn you up to an additional £50 per month. You will also have the opportunity to develop your career and progress in either clinical (DO Course), management or even in Audiology. Whichever path you want to take, you will be supported through it.
