A leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy require an Associate Architect to join their growing Architectural team in Nottingham.

Conrad Consulting have a long-standing relationship with this well-established and highly-reputable firm, which is among the leading companies to work for in the UK, now adding a Nottingham office to their UK wide offering, providing construction and property consultancy across the majority of industry sectors.
The position will involve providing architectural design services and project management across a broad spectrum of services, as well as the internal day-to-day management of the architectural team. The ideal candidate will be able to bid and generate work to support financial management of the Architectural team. Tasks will include running projects from inception to completion ranging in value from £300k to £200m. The practice works heavily in the Defence sector, which is where you will spend most of your time working. Experience of working in Defence/Infrastructure would be ideal for this position, although not necessarily essential.
Associate Architect Requirements:
- RIBA Chartered Architect or CIAT Architectural Technologist with a wealth of industry experience.
- Experience of working within the Defence sector would be ideal.
- Have thorough working knowledge of 3D Revit/AutoCAD and be comfortable starting drawings from scratch.
- BIM experience using REVIT.
- Experienced in networking and client-facing roles.
- Business development experience would be a plus for this role.
- Thorough understanding of the Building Regulations.
- Understand the NBS specification system.
- Knowledge of drafting fee proposals and understanding of financial management.
The successful Associate Architect will be offered an excellent salary and benefits package which will include the following:

The office is located on the North side of Nottingham, which means this would be commutable for those travelling from Nottingham, Derby, Chesterfield, Newark, Leicester and even further afield dependent on routes. Hybrid working is very much on offer with 2-3 days working from home and the rest in the office, although there may be the need to be more regularly in the office in the first few months.
