This temporary role is a unique and valuable opportunity to join our professional Human Resources team to assist with the HR elements of the TUPE Transfer Project. You will do this through the provision of proactive and responsive administrative activities including acting as first point of contact for customers. We are looking for someone to contribute to the transactional HR processes to assist the project alongside support in delivering of the HR function as part of the wider project plan.
Key Responsibilities:- To provide administrative support to the HR Operations Team for the TUPE transfer project.
- Lead on the preparation of contracts and payroll documentation as required for the project.
- Support with any Recruitment administration as required, including direct contact with managers and candidates to ensure a smooth transfer from offer to starting employment with SDC.
- To assist with the organisation of Corporate Training and induction for the new joiners to SDC.
- Strong interest to work within Human resources.
- Good general education or equivalent experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to manage own time, large workloads and prioritise tasks.
- Organised and accurate, with good attention to detail.
- Ability to work proactively and well as part of a team.
- Ability to work with confidential information.
- IT literate and experience of MS Office.
- Excellent customer service and experience of working in a busy office environment in an administrative capacity.
This role is a full-time position for 6 months and is based at Ebley Mill (Council HQ) with potential for hybrid/flexible working.
