About Memorisica:

Memorisica is a growing independent media production company based in the North West of England. We specialise in producing original films, shows, and digital content for broadcasters and VOD platforms. Our goal is to entertain, inspire, and connect with diverse audiences worldwide through heartfelt and innovative storytelling. We are looking for passionate, creative individuals to join our talented team as we continue to expand globally.

Role Overview:

We are looking for an Online Editor, who is excited to support our creative projects by helping to review, conform, and finish content for broadcast and online distribution. The role is focused on post-production finishing tasks, such as reviewing and conforming edits, applying technical grades, and ensuring content meets broadcast and online standards. This role is more technical than creative editing and involves preparing content for localisation and distribution across various formats and countries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with reviewing and conforming edits using DaVinci Resolve, making sure the final content meets specified technical standards.
  • Apply basic, technical, and creative colour grades to ensure our work looks polished and professional.
  • Help prepare content for international markets by working on localisation (adding subtitles, adjusting formats for different countries, etc.).

What We Are Looking For:

  • Basic experience with DaVinci Resolve (or a willingness to learn).
  • Interest in learning about grading and post-production processes.
  • Attention to detail to ensure that final content meets all technical requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively in a creative team environment, contributing to a positive and supportive work culture.
  • Enthusiasm for the media production industry and a desire to learn and grow in post-production.
  • While it is not required, having a second language is a plus, especially for projects that involve localisation or international markets.

Benefits:

  • Hands-on experience working on exciting projects ranging from trailers to feature films.
  • Access to a range of film and TV production equipment for personal projects.
  • A flexible schedule and the ability to work remotely.
  • The chance to develop your skills in post-production, including grading and QC processes.
  • Be part of an exciting indie content company with a global vision, working alongside a supportive and passionate team in a creative industry.

Apply:

If you are excited about this opportunity and believe you have the skills and passion to make a difference at Memorisica, we would love to hear from you. Please send your CV and a brief cover letter outlining your interest and relevant experience to careers@memorisica.com.
