This is a fantastic opportunity to join a rapidly growing pricing function within a successful and expanding syndicate. The team are seeking a Senior Pricing Analyst with strong technical pricing skills and experience in delegated pricing or commercial property.
This role is perfect for someone with 3–4 years' relevant experience, who enjoys working with underwriters and diving into raw data to provide real commercial insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the creation of clear and insightful technical pricing documentation.
- Work with large and varied data sets to analyse delegated authority and open market risks.
- Collaborate closely with underwriters and other insurance functions to support pricing decisions.
- Maintain and enhance pricing models, ensuring alignment with Lloyd’s standards.
- Present pricing assessments effectively, including reviews of large risks and binders.
- Contribute to syndicate planning and portfolio performance analysis.
Key Requirements:
- Experience in delegated pricing or commercial property within the London Market.
- Proven ability to communicate technical findings to underwriters and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with tools like SQL, VBA and Python for data exploration (not necessarily coding-heavy).
- A natural collaborator who fits well into team dynamics and enjoys a supportive environment.
- Ideally some progress with actuarial exams—but this is not essential.
