Key Responsibilities:

1. Individualized Support: Work closely with students with special educational needs to provide one-on-one support tailored to their unique requirements.

2. Assistive Technology: Utilize assistive technology and resources to enhance the learning experience for students with disabilities.

3. Inclusive Learning: Collaborate with classroom teachers to adapt and modify lessons to accommodate students with SEN, ensuring an inclusive and accessible curriculum.

4. Behavioral Support: Implement strategies for behavior management and create a supportive and respectful classroom environment.

5. Progress Tracking: Monitor and record students\’ progress and achievements, communicating effectively with parents and caregivers.

6. Personal Care: Provide personal care and assistance to students with physical disabilities or medical needs, including feeding, toileting, and mobility support.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Experience in Special Education, Psychology, or a related field.

2. Previous experience working with students with SEN is highly preferred.

3. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with students.

4. Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to fostering the well-being and development of students with special needs.

5. Knowledge of relevant assistive technologies and resources.

6. Enhanced DBS clearance (or willingness to obtain one).
