Diagnostic Sonographer - Ultrasound

Minimum Requirements:

1. Member in good standing of the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) or a future graduate actively pursuing registration with the CMRITO.
2. Graduate of an accredited program of Medical Imaging – Diagnostic Medical Sonography (unless a future graduate or student).
3. Current registration with Sonography Canada, or eligibility upon graduation.
4. Possess valid liability insurance as defined by the CMRITO, or eligible to obtain liability insurance upon registration.
5. Initiative, organizational, and decision-making skills are essential.
6. Strong computer skills.
7. Excellent communication skills with the ability to deal courteously and effectively with physicians, patients, and other members of the healthcare team.
8. Capable of coping with a physically demanding workload.
9. Must be available to work all shifts including weekends, stat holidays, and on-call.
