About the Opportunity
The Global Risk & Regulatory Compliance team oversees a variety of responsibilities within the larger Compliance organization. We are responsible for building, enhancing and maintaining a compliance program that meets the expectations and regulatory requirements on a global scale. Some of the core responsibilities of this team include, but are not limited to:
- Compliance Monitoring & Testing
- Issue Management
- Compliance Training
- License Maintenance
- Exam Management
- Reporting
- Risk Management
- Third-Party Risk Management (Vendor Due Diligence)
- Risk Framework and other additional compliance governance/operations and risk management responsibilities.
What you will do
- Maintain regulatory complaints process
- Aid in collection, organization and follow-up items for any state or regulatory exams
- Help maintain a process, risk and control inventory across the organization, including financial, legal, operational, and reputational risks
- Ensuring internal processes are being maintained timely and accurately
- Aid in the follow-up of any findings from a Compliance Monitoring & Testing or Risk Assessment to ensure remediation is done timely
- Coordinate and maintain quarterly reporting to Senior Leadership
- Staying informed about global trends in risk management and compliance
- Aid in additional Risk & Compliance responsibilities, as necessary
What you will be working with/on
MoonPay is looking for a Global Risk & Regulatory Compliance Analyst to join our Risk & Compliance team and act as a key player in ensuring MoonPay maintains risk and regulatory compliance requirements. This Analyst will ensure Risk & Compliance are meeting business goals by aiding in internal reporting, processing documentations and requests in a timely and efficient manner as well as additional governance duties to ensure adherence to global regulations.
About You
- 0-2 years of experience in risk or compliance
- Professional experience in cryptocurrency is preferred
- Proven ability to collaborate with others, both internally and externally
- Knowledge of global regulatory agencies and regulations
- Experience with risk and compliance requirements in various global jurisdictions
- Strong analytical thinker with the ability to document processes
- Excellent problem-solver with the ability to develop and implement solutions
- Effective communicator who can explain complex issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Proactive and detail-oriented in order to manage processes (i.e. reporting)
Bonus qualifications:
- Professional certifications (CRMP, CRCM, CCEP, etc.)
- Experience in a startup environment
