The Role of the Starbucks Barista is to contribute to Starbucks’ success by providing legendary customer service to all customers through prompt service, quality beverages and products, and maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment. The Barista acts as an ambassador for Starbucks, embodying its guiding principles, culture, and values; embracing the coffee culture and keeping it at the core of all activities.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Acting in accordance with, and as an ambassador for, Starbucks guiding principles, culture, and values.
  2. Embracing the coffee culture and keeping it central to everything we do.
  3. Discovering and responding to customer needs, providing product sampling and demonstrations to enhance the Starbucks Experience.
  4. Following Starbucks operational policies and procedures, including cash handling, security, and health and safety protocols to ensure safety for all.

Please note: this role is only open to individuals over 18 due to licensing regulations. Availability on Saturdays and Sundays is required for weekend working.
