We are seeking an experienced Procurement Consultant with expertise in Microsoft 365 (MS365) licensing to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing software procurement, ensuring compliance with licensing agreements, and providing strategic guidance on cost-effective solutions for software acquisition. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their software needs and align procurement strategies with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- MS365 Licensing Management: Manage the procurement of Microsoft 365 licenses, ensuring compliance with Microsoft's licensing terms and conditions. Review and negotiate licensing agreements with Microsoft and other vendors. Provide advice on the optimal number of licenses required, considering the organization's current and future needs. Track and report on license utilization to optimize costs and ensure compliance.
- Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies for IT software, focusing on cost-effective purchasing. Identify potential cost savings through strategic purchasing, volume agreements, or consolidated licensing.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with software vendors, especially Microsoft and other software providers.
Required Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in procurement, specifically in IT/software procurement.
- Proven experience with Microsoft 365 (MS365) licensing, including purchasing, negotiating, and managing license agreements.
- Strong understanding of software procurement processes and vendor management.
- Excellent negotiation skills and a proven track record in contract management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Microsoft Enterprise Agreements (EA).
- Familiarity with other software licensing models (Adobe, Oracle, etc.).
